I left a bad review when I first got this, because I was disappointed how quickly it chewed trough my pen nibs.
This protective film chews trough your pen nibs like nobodies business, like on a comical level.
But it's long lasting So if you have a ton of replacement nibs its not half bad

bad for your nibs
the protector is easy to apply but it's like sandpaper and files down the nibs extremely quickly. I am guessing the protector will not last very long since I've applied it two days ago and I can already see the scratches on it from the side. They aren't visible when drawing yet thought.

Ruins your nibs
Nothing in its description says its textured, and someone even asked in th Q&A section asked if it has paper texture and the answer was no.
But it has texture. Some very rough at that.
I heard that the first nib when using a new XPpen tablet/film would get destroyed and it is expected, well I've been using this for around 6 days and I've had to change the nib 4 times. With the original film I used for a month my pen nib had slighty worn down, with this one I probably have to start using the sixth nib tomorrow because the new one I put on my stylus today already has an angle after sketching for couple of hours.
Honestly its bad enough for me to wish I could change my review on the Artist pro 16, because eventually anyone who has to buy a new protective film for their display and they choose to buy the "official" one, will have their drawing experience severely impared. That is more than enough to lower the raiting for the display itself.
Extremely dissapointed in the quality and the lack of even mentioning that it has texture.
I can recommend this to anyone who is willing to start replacing the nibs evey other day if not daily, but for anyone else you're better off with anything else other than this
In the picture you can see the nibs I've used past 6 days and on the stylus the nib I started using today.

Hi, will there be a smooth version like older version of the protective film was? this one has paper like texture and its not a good fit for me
